PAYMENTS
Non refundable deposit value is 20% of total charter price and is due within 7 days of confirmation email being sent. Final payment is due not later than 61 days prior to checkin date on vessel. On Strike Charters will attempt to remind clients but it is responsibility of client (person who is named as primary of booking) to ensure payment is made in the timeframe. On Strike Charters reserves the right to cancel booking and retain any funds paid to date or committed if these deadlines are not met.


KEEPING FISH AND PROCESSING.

Although we are happy for you to bring a few kilos of fish fillets home, this is certainly not the goal of this experience. Catching quality fish to consume whilst on board is definitely on the list but enjoying the amazing sport and game fishing, whilst enjoying a relaxed atmosphere in the evenings on board is our goal.
Therefore, since fishing sustainably is always our intention, matched with lack of freezer space for storage, we will not be able to keep your legal quota to take home.
We estimate that we have space for around 5 kilos of fillet storage per person, we can fillet the fish for you but each individual will be responsible for cryo-vacing their own fillet, labelling and given to the crew for storage, this needs to be done in a timely matter after you finish fishing for the day. Sourcing foam boxes for transport, and storage after check out from the vessel will be your own responsibility once back in Exmouth.


SAFETY AND LIABILITY
A safety and liability induction will be completed before the end of first evening on board. The client who has booked agrees and is required to sign a liability waiver releasing ON STRIKE CHARTERS for any damage to the vessels or additional costs incurred due to result of actions, by all persons in their group, whilst the group is on board. A valid credit card (Mastercard or Visa) will need to be produced to note its details. By signing this document the client agrees responsibility for any so costs.
The waiver document also will involve the booking client to ensure that their group will maintain normal behaviour, not become intoxicated, prohibit the use of drugs and within reason, behave normally and courteously at all times toward the crew. Client and all passengers agree to follow all instructions given to them by On Strike Charters staff. Any breaches of these terms the charter may be cancelled immediately, and all monies will be forfeited.
Smoking is permitted but only in certain locations. Please ask your crew where this is safe and permitted to do so.
Our highly trained crew are there to ensure your trip is awesome and will spend a maximum of 12 hours per day on supporting vessels fishing, hosting tasks and providing you with an EPIC time! Prior to start of day and after dinner they may return to their quarters for well earned rest.
They will be available to assist you, at any time, in case of an emergency.
In accordance with fisheries legislation, there will be no fishing allowed on board the mothership KONKERA.
A recreational skippers ticket boat license or equivalent will be need if you wish to borrow KONKERA’s tender. This must be available to be sighted by Captain and the client who made the booking is liable for any damage caused to the tender and/or it’s occupants. The tender will not be available after the crew retires for the evening.

CANCELLATIONS
If a booking is cancelled more than 120 days prior to departure the deposit paid is non-refundable but transferable to another charter date within 24 months of original booking date.
If a booking is cancelled less than 60 days prior to departure, or, if a passenger fails to arrive, the total charter value is forfeited.
On Strike Charters does not accept any responsibility for the actions of any carrier that might result in the purchaser failing to observe a booking condition.
On Strike Charters will attempt to fill a booking cancellation. If a cancelled charter can be filled, even partially, we will provide a pro-rata credit less a 20% administration fee. Such credits are available to be used for a period of 24 months from date of original booking, are non refundable, non transferable and not redeemable for cash.
Cancellation for weather
If On Strike Charters deem the weather is unsafe to continue the whole or part of the charter, some cancellations may occur. These decisions are made to the best of our ability and are continually evolving in conjunction with weather. Therefore there is no set time these decisions are made.
If the weather forecast predicts that the whole island experience will be cancelled the mothership will remain in the Exmouth Marina.
You can remain on board for the duration of the trip and fish from Exmouth aboard our fishing boats taking advantage of the weather windows. Cancelled trips will be assessed by On Strike Charters, on their own merit and a pro rata REFUND IF ANY will be made. It is important you have adequate cancellation cover included in your travel insurance.
If the weather allows a later departure or an earlier return from the islands due to weather, you can remain on board for the duration of the trip and fish from Exmouth aboard our fishing boats taking advantage of the weather windows. Cancelled trips will be assessed on their own merit and a pro rata REFUND IF ANY will be made. It is important you have adequate cancellation cover included in your travel insurance.
TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICIES ARE AVAILABLE AND CAN BE PURCHASED TO INCLUDE CANCELLATION COVER FOR UP TO $40 000. These can be purchased for as little as $200AUD. This provides you peace of mind so you can enjoy your trip. Suggestion is that you consider including full travel dates in your policy so all your journey is covered.
On Strike Charters strongly recommends that all passengers consider it travel insurance is relevant to their situation.

GENERAL

On Strike Charters is an adventure travel organisation. The nature of charters offered, means that passengers may encounter physical discomfort and even danger. This being the case, it is expected that every passenger understands and appreciates the risks involved and is prepared to accept those risks as part of the spirit of adventure. On Strike Charters undertakes to deliver services with all due care however it is intended that every passenger accept ultimate responsibility for any damage to or loss of personal property, or any illness, injury, or death. Additionally, we will use its best endeavours to deliver services at indicated times, however we do not intend to accept liability for any losses, costs or expenses suffered because of any delay in the delivery of services. Further On Strike Charters cannot accept any liability for breach of contract arising from or caused by, directly or indirectly, force majeure, war, industrial dispute, civil unrest, pandemic, or natural disaster.
